The kernel that holds the wheat germ, however, is removed from whole wheat in the process of creating flower to make storage easier and last longer.

Wheat germ is a really rich source of protein, minerals, vitamins and folic acid.

Just two tablespoons of raw wheat germ gives you:

1. 4 grams of protein
2. 2 grams of dietary fiber
3. Only 30 calories

This means that if you’re about 55 kilograms you will need 11 tablespoons of wheat germ per day to fulfill your protein and fiber needs, setting you back only 330 calories compared to about 600 you will get from eating 2 burgers to fulfill your daily protein needs, but not fibers.

It is packed with:
