Foot Care

Foot Care

We often neglect our feet forgetting that they’re pretty much the most abused parts of our bodies yet almost always the least taken care of. We need to stop depending on our monthly pedicures and start pampering those feet at least once a week. Here are a few homemade feet-care recipes for you to enjoy:

Recipe one, for complete relaxation and a soothing effect:

Soak your feet for at least 20 minutes in warm water and a mixture of:

– 1/4 cup of olive oil

– 20 drops of the essential oil of your choice that you can buy from Nefertari’s natural products

Recipe two, for treatment of cracked heels:

– Scrub your feet with pumice stone then dry them well

– Mix glycerine and rose water then rub them on your heels till your skin absorbs the mixture

– Wear a pair of socks to bed and leave them on for the night

You can follow the same process using olive oil, vegetable oil, or coconut oil instead of the glycerine and rosewater mixture. Repeat the treatment for a few days to a week until the cracks are heeled.

Recipe three, for treatment of dry feet:

Soak your feet for at least 20 minutes in a mixture of:

– Warm water

– Half a cup of honey
