Females: malicious and mischievous

Females: malicious and mischievous

Yes, I am a woman and yes I am saying that about us. If you’re a woman reading this, I bet you would relate and somewhat agree. I’m not saying every single female on the face of this earth is that way, just like I’m not saying some men are not. But throughout my 30 years of dealing with females in different situations every single day, I have seen that those traits apply to females more than to males. Think about it..

Each one of us, at some point in her life (some of us still do this on a daily basis), made it a point to loudly find faults in a fellow female just because she’s prettier, sexier, more successful, or gets more attention from guys. Some even badmouth others just because they’re at ease with who they truly are and refuse to give in to what society expects them to look or behave like. A woman would go the extra mile to tease another woman and humiliate her in front of others if she feels threatened by her success.

We’re always competing with one other, to each others’ faces and behind each others’ backs; it’s tiring and frustrating but we keep going nonetheless. A lot of us find joy in crippling other girls’ progress just because we do not want to see them do well or be happy. Hearing comments like “what does he see in her anyway?” / “how did she even land such a job; have you seen what she wears?” / “Look at how messy her hair is, does she not see it’s so 80s!” / “Stop chasing her, she’s not even your type!” are no surprise anymore. If anything, it’s quite rare to hear girls talk positively about each other.

We would pretend to be naive and fake living by certain principles just to get a man interested.

Some would happily destroy a marriage using the pathetic excuse “well, I’m not the married one, why would I care if he doesn’t.” Women could truly be evil home wreckers if they decide to; all it takes is some simple plotting and determination – both of which we have right at our fingertips.

We would talk crap about even our “closest” friends just because they have a different kind of lifestyle and choose to go about their chosen path differently. I have seen women lying to their friends’ faces telling them they look “oh so stunning” in a very unflattering outfit just so they wouldn’t look prettier then them. It’s crazy how jealous some of us could get and the amount of hatred we would carry towards one another because of all the built in envy.

We say we hate to be treated like the weaker sex and hate having our emotions abused, yet, we would pretend to be weak and vulnerable just to get something we want and have our say in a matter.

I say this as I repeat to myself, every single day, that I am absolutely blessed to have the best friends that I have. Yes, we do gossip, make fun of and judge others but thankfully, we interrupt ourselves in the act and stop at “oh crap, we are such horrible people. Let’s talk about something else,” then we start talking about how men need to grow up and act like actual men. I’m so happy to be smart enough to have chosen to be close to my true female friends while keeping a distance from those I know would never be genuine enough to be in my life.

A lot of females are not as innocent, genuine, or ignorant as they “appear” to be; some women out there are quite harmful and very much capable of messing up your lives, so my advice to you is to really keep an eye on who you decide to open up to and bring into your life. I’m sure you’re smart enough to tell the difference between a girl and a lady and figure out the few of us who are truly sincere; good luck with that.
