Trend Report: Swimwear Hunt in Egypt
May 7, 2013 | Nadine El Sayed 14We have received several messages from you asking us where to find the Greek bikini and other trendy swimsuits featured in our Spring/Summer 2013 Swimwear Trend Report. We had to comply.
So we went on a hunt around the Egyptian market to see which stores had stocked trendy swimwear and where to find the latest hypes for you, beach fashionistas, out there.
We did the work for you, so all you have to do is hit the right store and ask for the right swimsuit, this summer you do not have to navigate malls and streets for that perfect bikini or one-piece.
From Greek goddess to retro chic, heavy prints and mismatched bikinis, these swimsuits often combine several trends into one, eclectic, funky piece. We matched, or mismatched to be more accurate, pieces and played around with various shapes and colors, so don’t be afraid to put your take on featured pieces and styles and get creative.
Greek Goddess
Greek Goddess is all about drapes, twists, knots and cutouts. The style is easy to pull off, just add a little gold jewelry to a bright color and stir away from whites and you’re good to go.
The Quirky Prints
From animal prints to assymetrical and geometrical shapes, prints this summer are anything but ordinary. So don’t be afraid to walk about with a horse picture on your one-piece or a tiger head on your bikini bottom, they’re making a great comeback.
Vintage Glamour
Oh, the sweet, retro swimsuit covering unflattering bits and adding curves to the flattest of bodies. This is one trend we are excited to embrace, so go ahead and experiment with high-waisted bikini bottoms, textured one-pieces and corset bikini tops. Just add a little modern twist to your swimsuit by combining retro with modern or solid prints.
Mismatched
One of the easiest, and cheapest, trends to pull this summer, simply throw on two different bikini pieces and you’re in fashion. Don’t try to match, the trick is for you to look like you haven’t even bothered, so experiment with clashing prints and colors.
Combining various trends
What’s even better than a fashionable piece, is one that combines many trends and saves you the hassle of shopping for each and every single one. These pieces combine prints with retro styles, drapes with quirky pictures and mismatches retro pieces; these are the perfect smart buys for you.

One suggestion for the lady asking about “shar3y” swimsuits. But a full diving wet suite with thickness 1/2 ml or less, it fits perfectly, won’t bother you while swimming, and it covers all your body but with a style. Plus it meets the requirements of swimming pools in hotels where they don’t allow other types of shar3y swimsuits.
Just saying 🙂
