wow! that’s a bunch of over-priced dresses. I wonder how can people afford this in a time where everyone’s business is suffering… supposedly.

Hahaha, I definitely feel you, lusted over some way out of budget ones myself!! But did you see the H&M ones? I think love them, especially the white one!

Yeah, but it IS a post about where to find evening gowns, not evening gowns you can’t afford. Going to four stores in city stars doesn’t really count as a gown hunt. You guys do some great work but this post is disappointing.

Hi May, thanks for your comment, am sorry you feel that way, we did spend a few days running around in Heliopolis, Zamalek and Mohandessin to pull this post off and come up with the dresses we liked from seven different stores, not to mention having to deal with grumpy store assistants telling us we can’t take photos and scouring the styles we liked online to find a decent photo to post and all 🙂 Please note that although we did go to several other stores, these were the dresses we found worthy of featuring, from our opinions.
We tried to include a wide price range that ranged from a few hundreds (the H&M dresses) to several thousands because we realize not everyone is willing to pay the same range so we wanted diversity.
We do wish the Egyptian market offered more budget finds, please do let us know if you have a store or designer that carry budget finds and we would gladly dedicate a post for it. (Not to mention for shopping there ourselves 🙂 )
Meanwhile, stay tuned we are preparing another article that should come up soon for how to get that perfect evening gown on a budget that we’re sure you will like 🙂 We don’t want to divulge more, but it will be entirely different than the international chains finds, so keep posted 🙂
