Daddy’s Letter to His Little Girl
June 18, 2013This is heart-warming, inspiring and moving. A psychologist and blogger writes a letter to his daughter about what she should be looking for in her future husband and fights against every advice out there telling women how to keep their men interested.
“Little One, it is not, has never been, and never will be your job to ‘keep him interested.’ Little One, your only task is to know deeply in your soulin that unshakeable place that isnt rattled by rejection and loss and egothat you are worthy of interest. (If you can remember that everyone else is worthy of interest also, the battle of your life will be mostly won. But that is a letter for another day.)”
Read Kenny Flanagan’s full letter here and get inspired to be the person you truly are and not the show media tells you to put on for your man. We are blessed to have fathers in this world; they remind little girls, and older ones, that they’re worthy of the treatment and love their daddies had given them. Bless all the daddies and men out there who tell their ladies and girls how much they are worth every day.
