Where I’m Standing

March 31, 2014
Where I’m Standing

It started off with old, colorful tiles in a house on the island of Roda, and then we simply fell in love with floors. Everywhere.

We’re always too busy getting somewhere that we rarely ever get the chance to look where we’re walking or where we’re standing and so miss the beauty of various floors; old-wooden, squeaky floors, colorful tiles, precious rugs or cool cement floors. So we launched the #WhereImStanding project on Instagram and had our fabulous readers send us pictures of floors they found cool around Egypt; and we got dozens of rather interesting shots. But mostly; we got people to stand and actually look in the middle of their busy days. So here’s what we have received so far, and if you happen to come across floors you found interesting, go ahead and tag @19TwentyThree on Instagram or post it on your Facebook page.
