A Flavorsome Breakfast at Bubblicious
January 14, 2014Just like every new year’s resolution, “eating healthy and cutting down on junk food and too much dessert” topped my list for 2014. I was doing so well until we decided to have breakfast at Bubblicious a new addition to Zamalek’s never-ending eateries and cafes.
From a list of 11 different omelet options, the four of us decided to go for the ‘cajun omelets’ (LE 25) with three requesting mild spiciness and the fourth going all out with how they would originally serve it. They were perfectly cooked with a fusion of spiced oriental sausages, mushrooms, green bell peppers, and onions.
Editor’s Note: the mild spicy order was quite spicy so we would recommend you stress on having it as mild as can be if you have a sensitive pallet.
After savoring our omelets, we decided to share dessert, and this is where the fun begins; behold the indulgence:
The blueberry stuffed pancakes (LE 19 for the ‘short’ order of two pancakes) were the perfect finale for this meal.
Biting into the parts with the nutella stuffing was absolute bliss; that’s why I think they could have added much more in there nope, it was not enough. They are sold at LE 18 for the ‘short’ order of two pancakes.
I’ve heard a lot about that whole ‘bubble tea’ drink but never got the idea until one of us ordered it with three steps to complete the order:
She chose a base of slush, watermelon flavor, and blueberry popping bobas for her topping, and she absolutely loved it. Once crushed, the blueberry bubbles let out a flavorsome blueberry heaven!
We would definitely recommend Bubblicious for your next sugar fix.
