We are true suckers for ethnicity, and it doesn’t get more authentic than this. We love this tea set, handcrafted by Gargous Pottery Workshop in Qena. The workshop was founded in 1954 by two French monks and Egyptian architect Hassan Fathi to revive the ancient Egyptian art of pottery. The products are inspired by the Upper Egyptian culture and environment and all made with the exact same red silt used by Ancient Egyptians. Materials are all natural, eco-friendly and lead-free.
