Summer vacation is upon is and with Ramadan coming up, we’re sure many moms out there want to keep their kids busy and away from their PlayStations.

If you’re wondering how to keep the kids busy, entertained, fit and mentally stimulated without losing your sanity, we have combined a list of summer camps taking place this season around Cairo.

 Slimnastics Studio Summer Camp

What: Girls only sports, dance and crafts

When: July 5th-August 13th. Sunday to Thursday. 10:00am-5:00pm

Who: Girls only, ages 5-12

Activities: Ballet, music, fitness, cake decoration, costume making, kickboxing, art and aerobics.

CTC Summer Camp 

What: Helen O’Grady Drama Academy offers a sports and arts summer camp

When: June 21st-June 25th, June 28th-July 2nd, July 5th-July 9th , July 12th-July 16th.

Who: Ages 4-13.

Activities: Tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming, water activities, master chef, treasure hunt, water balloon fight, and performing and creative arts.

Prices: LE 1,300 per week for the long day (9am-3pm) and LE900 per week for short days (11am-3pm). Discount for longer enrollments, groups and early bird registration during May and 10% off for siblings.

What: A creative and spiritual Ramadan camp

Activities: Yoga, recycling, painting, crafts, pottery, physical education, cooking, story telling, and creative writing.

What: Photography for kids
