This handmade stitch work is more than a bedcover, it is a celebration of our heritage and a tribute to the rich crafts of the Delta, Upper Egypt and Sinai. The fabrics to make this bedcover were collected from Mahala city and Akhmim in Sohag and the patches come from all over Sinai, truly reflecting various aspects of our rich heritages.

The cover was made for Markaz Egypt, an NGO focusing on reviving the local arts and handicrafts, and can be bough from their Maadi store in 199 road, Degla or online at Style-Treasure.com for LE 1,440.

It adds a touch of eclectic ethnicity, all the while helping the community, how can we not love it?
