Healthy Pudding Treat

Healthy Pudding Treat

Our reader Hoda El Sherbiny shared with us a yum breakfast secret that will satisfy your sweet tooth, keep you feeling filled and, best of all, give your digestion and metabolism a good kick: All in under 200, very nutritious, calories. This makes for an amazing midday snack or a guiltless indulgence when that sweet tooth kicks in. It tastes like a rich chocolate pudding without the fat, sugar and guilt.

Wheat germ is packed with protein, dietary fiber, vitamins B and E (which means it’s great for your heat, mood, brain, livery, immunity and a natural antioxidant) as well as minerals, healthy fatty acids and complex carbs.

Unsweetened, raw cocoa is a strong antioxidant that helps improve your heart and brain health as well as stimulate your blood flow, lower blood pressure and improving your mood.

Yoghurt is also packed with proteins and calcium and probiotic yoghurt is great for your digestion, which helps prevent colon cancer and other digestion-associated diseases.
Honey  is all-round awesomeness even in tiny little spoonfuls. Honey reduces ulcers and other gastrointestinal disorders, it boosts immunity, soothes throat and chest irritations and prevents and treats allergies. It is also an antibacterial and an anti-fungal and gives you a great energy boost and helps your body heals wounds faster.

Ingredients:

1 – cup of yoghurt (we suggest Activia for a good digestion kick)

1 – teaspoon honey

1- tablespoon wheatgerm or oats

1 – tablespoon unsweetened cocoa

Mix up and enjoy
